The Play’s the Thing!
This 6-night theatre journey includes 5 plays that range from the Bard’s bittersweet comedy All’s Well That Ends Well to an OSF American Revolutions commission; Paula Vogel’s Tony-nominated Indecent to the John Steinbeck–inspired play Mother Road (a world premiere by Octavio Solis) and the hit Broadway musical Hairspray. In addition to the OSF shows, you may opt into an evening at Oregon Cabaret Theatre enjoying Stephen Sondheim’s delicious masterpiece Sweeney Todd—with dessert, of course!
Examine innovative approaches to telling these stories on stage and discuss design decisions made by theatre artists and their impact on your experience of the performance. Program includes pre- and post-show discussions with an OSF professional artist who will introduce characters and background information for each performance and provide guest instructors to help you get the most out of your theatre experience.
