2 weeks. 10 plays at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. 29 lectures/discussions. If you just can’t get enough live theatre in a beautiful setting, this program is for you!

Come spend an exhilarating time in the charming town of Ashland packed with all the theatre we can possibly squeeze in! Go behind-the-scenes to examine the complex workings of an award-winning nationally-acclaimed theatre, meet the imaginative OSF artists who create the magic onstage, and investigate the elements that distinguish a successful production.

This 12-night theatre journey includes 10 plays ranging from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar to an adaptation of the Academy Award-winning Shakespeare in Love to a play written in the last decade, Hannah and the Dread Gazebo by Jiehae Park. OSF is also producing for the first time a play by a Native American playwright in Off The Rails by Randy Reinholz along with the world premiere of UniSon featuring the poetry of the famed American playwright August Wilson. Throw in The Odyssey by Homer, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Shakespeare’s Henry IV, Parts One and Two (AND The Merry Wives of Windsor) and you have a theatrical experience that you’ll be talking about with your friends for a while!

Program includes pre- and post-show discussions with an OSF professional artist who will introduce characters and background information for each performance and provide guest instructors to help you get the most out of your theatre experience.
