The Play’s the Thing!

Theatre Instructor: Christiana Clark

Experience the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in a week that has everything from traditional theatre with Shakespeare’s wild child in Henry IV to a tempestuous love affair in Shakespeare in Love and a dark comedic folktale in Hannah and the Dread Gazebo.  Examine innovative approaches to on-stage storytelling and join a Shakespearean scholar as they delve into OSF’s adaptation of the Academy Award-winning Shakespeare in Love.  Explore design decisions made by theatre artists and discuss their impact on your theatrical experience.

Program includes pre- and post-show discussions with an OSF professional artist who will introduce characters and background information for each performance (including the optional Henry IV, Part Two) and provide guest instructors to help you get the most out of your theatre experience.

Optional: Tickets have been reserved for a performance of Henry IV, Part Two during the free afternoon on Wednesday, October 11th. Cost for optional ticket is $57 per ticket.
